In 2007, I was approached to donate an Eagle Roost Productions birdhouse for an auction to support Project Return Home, located in Westport, CT. It was an honor to have the opportunity to create and donate to such a worthy cause.
Project Return Home is a therapeutic group home residence for adolescent girls. The restored farmhouse serves as a transitional home for girls who are victims of abuse, eating disorders, depression and other traumas. Project Return Home helps these girls regain their self-confidence and heal from their traumatic experiences.
Each year, Project Return Home holds an auction where birdhouses are auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds to benefit this program. Eagle Roost Productions had proudly participated in this auction three years in a row and plan to do so in the future as well.
